FAQ

  • What is your hourly rate?

My rate is $250/hr in Los Angeles and $300/hr in Nashville. My minimum is $250.

  • Will I see my design prior to the appointment?

Once I approve your appointment request and a deposit is received, I will go back and forth with you on the design in the days leading up to your appointment. While I am happy to make some adjustments free of charge, please be as clear as possible in your descriptions as to avoid any redraw fees.

  • How do I prepare for my appointment?

Exfoliate and moisturize the area to be tattooed in the weeks (or at least days) leading up to the appointment. Make sure to drink plenty of water (always), especially the day before and the day of your appointment. Do not drink alcohol the day/night before getting tattooed. Do not take any blood thinners. Do not show up to the appointment intoxicated.

Please eat a good meal prior to coming in! You are also welcome to bring snacks, headphones, reading material, and anything else that will aid in your comfort during the session. Just no pets or phone calls please.

  • How do I take care of my tattoo?

Leave the bandage on for 1-4 days and remove gently under running warm water (pull out and away from the tattoo as opposed to up and back. Think like a command strip). Wash your tattoo daily with unscented or antibacterial soap and warm water. Air dry or pat to dry. Drink water :)

Do not soak, swim, excessively sweat, or use a sauna for two full weeks after your tattoo appointment. Avoid direct sunlight. Do not scratch or exfoliate your tattoo while it is healing, even though it will peel and get itchy at times. Lightly moisturize 1-3x/day with Aquaphor, vitamins A&D ointment, Hustle Butter, or a similar, gentle product.

  • Do you charge for touch ups?

No, touch ups are complimentary and can happen anytime after the tattoo is fully healed (about a month). Please email me with a photo of your healed tattoo if you would like to schedule a touch up session.

  • Do you ever work in other cities?

Yes! In addition to LA and Nashville, I frequently work in San Francisco, Chicago, and NYC. Keep an eye on my Instagram stories and newsletter for updated travel plans. In the meantime, you can submit a form anytime for any city and will be added to my waitlist.
